Where are the partnerships?
There wasn't one moment. It built up from being curious.
I've been curious about this for over a year. "Self-made" gets idolised, and I think trying to do it all yourself is overrated. I love love. I love marriage. And I love business. Too often we interview solo founders, and I want to hear from the partnerships.
When I looked at my own journey, it held up. I was broke, and the right partners are what let me leap forward. They showed me the leader I can be and gave me a space to feel sane. Accountability has been a massive part of how I've built anything, so I come to these conversations with conviction. I've lived what the right partnership can do.
I don't think we recognise the value of simply having people who care for you and love you. There's nothing like it.
